Suarez’s singles ranking peaked at number 9, when she reached the semi-final of Roland Garros. In doubles she won Roland Garros four times, the U.S. Open three times, the Australian Open in 2004 and the Los Angeles Masters in 2003. She was beaten three times in the Wimbledon doubles final.
